Robbery & Attempted Robbery

On Friday afternoon [Mar.2] a man was robbed in the Summit View Drive, Hamilton parish area, while a fisherman set up in the Dock Hill, Devonshire area was also the victim of an attempted robbery.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 2:45pm on Friday, March 2nd police responded to a reported robbery in the Summit View Drive, Hamilton parish area. A quantity of cash was taken from the male victim, who was not injured.

“Around 4:20pm on Friday, March 2nd police responded to a reported attempted robbery in the Dock Hill, Devonshire area. The lone suspect made good his escape empty handed and no one was injured.

“The suspects in the first incident are described as two men on a dark coloured motorcycle wearing dark coloured clothing and dark coloured helmets. The suspect in the second incident is described as wearing a dark coloured helmet and dark coloured clothing.
