Upcoming: Special Needs Reception

The Schools to Know organisation is inviting Bermudian parents to come and mingle at a Special Needs Reception spotlighting ten specialised US programmes serving teens with special needs including school failure or avoidance, behavioural issues, learning disabilities, substance abuse and a variety of psychiatric diagnoses.

The event is being held next Wednesday [Apr. 4] from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chartis Bermuda Limited’s cafeteria at 29 Richmond Road [next to the Robin Hood].

This event will provide information on currently available special needs programme located outside of Bermuda.

Parents and professions dealing with adolescents who have emotional challenges and/or learning disabilities will benefit from this informative and free event.

Tory Dodge of Schools to Know will direct you to the type of program you are interested in and program representatives will be exhibiting their materials.
