Photos: 2012 International Gymnastics Challenge

Dozens of gymnasts from both Bermuda and overseas descended on the Bermuda Gymnastics Association’s Southside training centre yesterday [Mar.31], as the club hosted the International Gymnastics Challenge.

The meet was a United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs [USAIGC] sanctioned meet, the first USAIGC competition ever to be held outside of the U.S.

The President of the USAIGC attended the competition, which the gymnasts used as a qualifying meet for USAIGC International Championships in Florida in June. In addition to the 34 local gymnasts competing, three gymnastics clubs from New York and Pennsylvania made the trip to Bermuda to compete.
