Two People Injured In Motorcycle Accidents
Two people were taken to hospital after two separate accidents yesterday [May 19]. A 33 year old man, was injured after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a taxi in Paget, and a 41 year old was injured after his motorbike collided with an SUV in Sandys parish. WEDCo: Work Will Be Awarded Via Tender
The contract tenders for the demolition, erection and completion of the Victoria Place Housing project in Sandys have not been issued yet, WEDCo Chairman Walter Lister said this afternoon [May 20]. Machete Wielding Men Commit Robbery In Sandys
Two people were robbed of items including a Blackberry after two men wielding a machete approached them in an area in Sandys parish. The assailants also damaged the victim’s car before escaping on foot.
