Photo Set #2: Along The End-To-End Route

May 10, 2012

Over 2,600 people participated in Saturday’s [May 5] Catlin End-to-End, with walkers and cycle riders starting in St George’s Square. The Middle-to-End walkers left from Albouys Point in Hamilton while the Middle-To-End Cycle ride started from Elbow Beach.

Also participating in this year’s event were swimmers, rowers and equestrians. Refreshment stops along the route were stocked with items such as water, sliced oranges, bananas and more.

The annual event, now in its 25th year, raises pledge dollars from the participants and traditionally takes place the first Saturday in May. This years event will raise funds for charities including Age Concern, The Adult Education Centre, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Open Airways, The Family Centre, St. John Ambulance, and Youthnet.
