[Updated] At approximately 3.30pm this afternoon [June 20] there was an accident on Harbour Road, in the area by Tamarind Vale. There were two vans involved, and the police were on scene allowing one way traffic through the area.
One of the vans — which was marked as a Government van from the Ministry of Health’s Vector Control department — ended up smashed into the wall. It does not appear that anyone was seriously injured, however we will update with additional information if able.
Update: A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:45pm on Wednesday June 20th, police responded to a report of a damage only collision in the Burnt House Hill, Harbour Road Warwick area. It appears that two vans were travelling along Harbour Road when they collided, with one of the vans subsequently colliding into a wall. There were no reported injuries; however both vans were damaged as well as a section of wall. Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
