Bermuda Hogges Lose 1 – 0 To Spartans

The Bermuda Hogges fell to another defeat last night [June 18], losing 1 – 0 to the Central Jersey Spartans. The match was scheduled to start at 5pm , however was delayed until 6:30pm due to inclement weather and a waterlogged pitch.

Following a scrappy scoreless first half, the visiting Central Jersey Spartans took the lead in the 68th minute when substitute Precious Iloka scored. Neither the Hogges or the Spartans scored again, with the game ending 1 – 0 in favour of the visitors.

This loss sees the Bermuda Hogges fall to 9th in the USL Premier Development Mid Atlantic Division Standings; the team have one win in nine games, with two draws and six losses.

    This team is susposed to form the nucleus of the national team and they have shown no improvement since their inception. Something is not working so it is time for major change starting with the coach!That is what mature countries do!
