Upcoming Talk On Childhood & Adolescent Obesity

Bermuda Diabetes Association is hosting a free talk at BUEI at 7 pm this Thursday 28th June. The topic is “Childhood and Adolescent Obesity – the underlying risk factors” and the speaker is Margaret Demment from Cornell University.

Margaret Demment is a Ph.D. student from Cornell University, Division of Nutritional Sciences. Ms Demment’s thesis is on obesity and adolescence and the title of her research: “Putting it into the Lifecourse Perspective: Trajectories of BMI z-score from Birth to Adolescence and Their Maternal, Socioeconomic, and Environmental Risk Factors.”
