Motorcycle Accident Victim Airlifted Overseas

The 32-year-old man injured in a motorcycle accident on Saturday has been airlifted overseas, while the 22-year-old man injured in a separate motorcycle accident on Monday remains in critical condition in the ICU.

The 32 year old Southampton man was seriously injured in a single vehicle motorcycle collision around 2:30am on Saturday, June 30th along Middle Road in Southampton has been flown overseas for further medical treatment. The police said the investigation into this collision is ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Jerry Waterman on 295-0011.

The 22 year old Devonshire man seriously injured in a single vehicle motorcycle collision around 2:15am on Monday, July 2nd on Palmetto Road in Devonshire near the junction with Aeolia Drive remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. Any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Wayne Sealy on 295-0011.

The past three days have all seen serious motorbike accidents occur, with another motorbike accident on July 1st claiming the life of 33-year-old German national and Bermuda resident Christoph Nagel.
