Toronto FC Signs Goalkeeper Freddy Hall

Toronto Football Club officially confirmed today [July 31] that they have signed Bermudian goalkeeper Freddy Hall. As per team and league policies terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Freddy brings depth to our goalkeeping position and has many qualities that we like to see at this position,” said Toronto FC Head Coach and Director of Soccer Operations Paul Mariner.

“He performed well during his trial period with our club and played well against Liverpool. We are pleased to sign him.”

Mr Hall, 27, most recently was a member of Northampton Town of the English League Two. Prior to that he played for the Bermuda Hogges after beginning his college career at South Florida University before transferring to Quinnipiac University.

Mr Hall will join fellow Bermudian Reggie Lambe, who was previously signed by the Canadian team.
