Bermudian’s need to make a big fuss about this accomplishment. Our young athletes need praise as this is an amazing ACCOMPLISHMENT. WELL DONE!!!!!!! Hopefully there is some benefit to all your hardwork and dedication i.e. perks throughout the island, scolarships etc. Store gift certificates anything to encourage and reward you.

  3. What matters most... says:

@WellDone…I second that! These athletes and coaches put in far more time than the 10 second, 2 minute, or 5 minute (or whatever time) of the races they compete in! They should be commended and rewarded! Good luck to the others still competing!!! Great job!!!!

  4. Concerned says:

    Congratulations Team Bermuda.

Great Job to the athletes, hard work and dedication pays off. Gov’t needs to look at providing more funds to this sports and not just send the major funds to soccer and cricket.
