  2. CFC_BLU says:

Another racist amongst us. Well done. I hope u feel a lot better getting that off your chest. I hope the kid is ok……..sometimes reading this type of crap makes me ashamed to consider myself a local.

  3. Yanzie says:

This stuff really needs to stop this island is too small, if we destroy our home there is no place better, crime and assaults are more serious. Come on Bermuda youth make Bermuda like it used to be

  4. Yanzie says:

I love America but there’s no place like vacation, pink sandy, beautiful beach, Bermuda

  5. Razor says:

Welcome to the new Bermuda. Feel the love! And the knife!

  6. Cedar Beams (Original) says:

A 16 year old out at 1am. Sounds OK to me, he was just on his way home from choir practice. Nice boy, never been in any trouble, and nothing to do with any gang…….HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    • Politely Pompous says:

His parents…or more likely parent-i.e. mother…should be held accountable for why this boy was out at this hour unsupervised. At his age, he should have been at home in his bed, summer holiday or not. Did his parent(s) even know where he was or call to check up on him or did they just let him roam free to get into trouble?

I know times have changed but you still have to keep check of where your kids are and what they’re doing…at the very least so that when you DO hear that something has happened at a certain location, you can have peace of mind knowing your kid wasn’t there-or get hold of them if they were there.

I don’t know how parents can lay their heads down at night knowing their kids are out roaming the streets.

      • Jason says:

So if he was stabbed 5 times at 10:30pm would it be okay?

    • UniversityKid says:

Why am I not surprised. You would find children of all ages out at night. If he was sleeping in his bed instead of roaming the streets, it probably wouldn’t have happened. It was probably a gang initiation. The police need to take all the gangs and throw them on an island. I wouldn’t want to hear any mothers saying “THAT’S MY BABY!!” … You should have known your baby was in a gang…

      • wow says:

you lot are really dumb. a teenager gets stabbed, and suddenly its cause he’s trying to join a gang? you people have seen way too many movies

      • Well says:

Let’s see, its summer. Perhaps he was on his way home from work? I know I for one had many late nights at that age (and that was only a few years ago).

Or perhaps if it was a girl or if he just had some items stolen it would “oh poor kid” right?

You people are always so quick to condemn.

  7. Head up high! says:

I hope this kid is okay !!! I hope they get the person that did this and I hope all involved are severly punished and made an example of. I don’t want to judge why this kid was out at that time since I just dont know. I lived in the Town Hill Flatts area which is just on the other side of Llolys Wells / Zuills Park and loved the time I spent there and hope this is an isolated incident and not a sign of how things have changed.

We need to stop focusing on whether or not young males may or may not be “in a gang” but instead focus on whether or not they are doing wrong! Period!!!! If they are doing wrong – don’t ignore it – call the police! If you ignore what goes on in your neighbourhood – you accept and in essence support it.

  8. Cedar Beams (Original) says:

Stabbed 5 times. Boy, whomever did this really wanted to do him harm. You hang around sh** long enough, you will start to smell. Parents take notice: Where are your kids at 1am? And who do your kids hang around with? Get to know who your kids hang around with – whatever it takes to avoid something like this. The boy of course won;t be able to ‘remember’ anything about the assailants. You don’t grass people up when you are in a gang! The result could be worse.

  9. Concerned Bermudian says:

This is really getting out of hand. However when I look at what is going on I know this is a fulfillment of GOd’s Word. When a nation forgets God all evil invades the nation. Bermuda come on let us get back to the Bermuda of yesterday, where we loved everybody. Remember Martin Luther King: we should not be judging by the color of the skin.

  10. kevin says:

@ cedar beams, I think termites have gotten to your brain, pretty messed up laughing after a stabbing. You are not helping by making dumb sarcastic assumptions. keep your stupidity to yourself as it can be contagious.

  11. Cedar Beams (Original) says:

Yes Kevin, contagious stupidity. it has obviously spread to you. I’m sure he really was on the way home from choir practice and is not in a gang. Tell me another one.

  12. Cedar Beams (Original) says:

Check my second comment if you want to see my real concern. This act was awful Kevin – but de Momma will say he was a nice boy and never hong around gangs an all det!

The kid was out at 1am and stabbed 5x!!! De Momma will deny her child is hangin roundf wiff de gangstahs – that was my point!

Denial is not just a river in Africa.

  13. iiiiiiiiiiiii says:

Its funny because I know the kid and he doesnt have jacksh!t to do with gangs. He probably was about to get robbed and he probably told the f#$ker to go home, then got stabbed.

  14. MineO says:

It’s really making me sick reading some of these narrow-minded, sarcastic, and judgmental comments. STOP. Please do not cast judgment when you don’t know the full story or the boy. I’m not saying I know the full story myself, but I do know the boy. I’m not on here to defend him, that’s the last thing I’d try to do. But just remember this boy is human too, and as a human he’s going to make mistakes. Whether this was one of his, I don’t know. I just ask that you don’t judge when you don’t know the full story or the person, because that’s not fair at all. Especially when he probably has no voice right now.
On the other hand, as an angry close friend, I’d normally let some words fly. However that’s not going to change what you people think of him or his situation. I just hope that what I, another 16 year old has to say may shed a bit of light.

  15. Thankfully the wounds were minor. I’m happy he made a quick recovery.
