A total of $153,750 in scholarships and educational awards has been granted to 18 Bermudian university students for the 2012-13 academic year by BELCO.

Andrew Parsons, BELCO President, said, “We received applications from 53 students, all of whom had outstanding academic records. After a rigorous review and interview process, we selected those who best met our established criteria.

“We are pleased to support these young men and women, as they pursue their educations and look forward to seeing them bring their knowledge and talent back to Bermuda, and perhaps to BELCO,” Mr Parsons concluded.
