Burglar Jumps Off Roof To Escape

Yesterday [Aug 2] the police interrupted a burglary in progress in Smiths, however the culprit jumped off the roof of the residence to escape.

A police spokesperson said: “Police attended a burglary in progress at a residence on Church Dale Lane in Smiths. Upon seeing the police the culprit managed to get onto the roof of the residence, he then jumped off the roof and made good his escape.

“Despite an extensive search in the area police were unable to apprehend the suspect, inquiries into this incident are underway.”

The police also said that they maintained a “very visible presence at Cup Match, BeachFest, and other social events. There were several calls for service which needed police intervention and or attendance, however there were no major incidents to report.”

    All due respect to the bps but most of these officers would not make the third cut with most police forces in other countries.The group at cup match were like bunnies in a fox den.

    Why couldn’t you people have just wished that the guy the police where after got caught instead of physical damage. Yes Sometimes I also have those similar thoughts.In my opinion, especially in these times we as people need to be a little more conscious of what we actually say and comment not knowing how it affects others i.e children,younsters(not alleged culprit)
    P.S. It seems as if it’s always the same pen names who’s cups are half empty
