Olympic Basketball: Great Britain Lose To France

Bermudian Jenaya Wade-Fray and her Great Britain Women’s Basketball teammates lost 80-77 to France, with the game going into overtime encounter at the Olympic Basketball Arena yesterday [Aug 3].

After sending the game to overtime, the teams were tied at 77-77 with seconds left and France’s Celine Dumerc drained a clutch three point shot to seal the win. Wade-Fray played 3 minutes and 59 seconds during the game.

Great Britain fell to 0-4 and has been eliminated as he top four teams in each of the six-team groups qualify for the quarterfinals. They play their final game tomorrow against Brazil, which also has a record of 0-4.
