Outerbridge Voted Eastern County 2nd Round MVP

Following his performance in the Eastern County Cup competition at the Sea Breeze Oval yesterday [Aug 18], Burton Outerbridge was voted Man of the Match.

Outerbridge opened the bowling with Kyle Hodsoll, between the two of them they claimed 6 wickets off thirty-five overs with six maidens giving up 111 runs.

Outerbridge finished with figures of 18-3-62-4, while Hodsoll bowled 17-3-49-2. He removed OJ Pitcher, Chris Foggo, Sammy Robinson and George O’Brien Jr.

After having Pitcher caught behind, Outerbridge then trapped Robinson on his next ball to make the score 65-6, he was denied a hat-trick when Loren Marshall blocked the next delivery.

Marshall and Rudell Pitcher put on a 74 run ninth wicket partnership that got St. David’s Cricket Club over the 150 run mark.
