Squash: Bermuda Lose To Guyana

Bermuda went down in their second team match of the Senior Caribbean Squash Championships going on in Trinidad and Tobago against Guyana.

Bermuda jumped out to a 1-0 lead with Anthony Fellowes recording another big win, this time against University of Western Ontario’s Deja Dias. Fellowes won in straight sets 11-9, 15-13, 11-2.

Guyana was in full control from then on with a particularly strong performance from Julian Chin. Chin defeated Andrew Stout in straight sets 12-10, 11-4, 11-9.

Alex Arjoon took a 2 – 1 lead when he defeated Chris Stout 11-9, 11-9, 11-5. Richard Chin defeated Micah Franklin in straight sets 11-6, 11-3, 11-8.

Jamal Calendar defeated Stephen Smith in straight sets 11-4, 11-9, 11-4 as Guyana won the final four games of the match.
