Bermuda Hockey Federation Results
The 2012/13 Bermuda Hockey Federation season got underway yesterday [Sept 29] at the National Sports Center, with both the Ravens and Wildcats recording wins.
Budgies 1 – Ravens 3
The Ravens went in front in the 6th minute when Megan Troake scored a Field Goal, the Budgies drew level in the 14th minute when Toni Fray from Penalty Corner. Troake put the Ravens back in front with her second Field Goal of the game in the 52nd minute. Georgia Harris scored from a Penalty Corner in the 65th minute for the Ravens that earned them a 3 – 1 win over the Budgies.
Wildcats 3 – Cardinals 0
Susanna Almeida scored a Field Goal from close range in the 5th minute to give the Wildcats the lead. Ashley Steede doubled the Wildcats lead over the Cardinals ten minutes later when she scored a Field Goal, Almeida then scored from a Penalty Corner in the 18th minute as the Wildcats defeated the Cardinals 3 – 0.
