‘Victims Of Existence’ Sign Distribution Contract
Bermudian artists Victims of Existence – Khari “Otis” Thornhill and John Eric Amaral, have just signed a Digital Distribution contract with SunToucher Entertainment LLC, in collaboration with Sony Music for their upcoming album release scheduled for September 18th.
Through their management team, PlayList Management, LLC, they were able to pen the deal with Suntoucher/Sony which allows their music to be sold through digital download sites including iTunes, Rhapsody, BuyMusic, Emusic, the new Napster, AOL’s MusicNet, MusicMatch, just to name a few. CEO of PlayList Management, LLC Theresa Minors stated, “We are extremely proud of Otis and John.
This deal allows their music to gain international exposure and provides them the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their labour. Their local hit single, ‘A Place With A Vibe’ (with collaborators Ill Logical Linguistics – Joshua “Fatz” Simons & Craig Simons) has been at the top of the charts on HOTT 1075 and Tha Underground Radio stations. The opportunity for their music to be heard and recognized beyond Bermuda is not only exciting but also shows the value of their talent.”
Additionally, their single has been nominated (in the Rap/Hip Hop Category) for an Independent Music Award to be announced in November this year. The Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) is a live red-carpet style awards show honoring the music of visual mediums, the music of independent music artists, and the professionals responsible for placing music in visual mediums. The two-hour awards event features live music performances, award presentations, celebrity appearances, a dinner banquet and more.
