Weekend Arrests: 22 For Warrants & DUI
Over the weekend, police officers arrested 16 people for outstanding warrants, six people on suspicion of impaired driving and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
In addition there was a burglary at Lighthouse Lane, Southampton residence over the weekend. Around 8:20am on Saturday, September 15th police received a report of a burglary at a Lighthouse Lane, Southampton residence. The home is currently under renovation.
A police spokesperson said: “It appears that sometime between 8am Sunday, September 9th and 8:15am on Saturday, September 15th an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into the unoccupied premises and removed a quantity of tools and household items. Inquiries into this incident are underway and anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010.”
