Upcoming; Motor Sports Racing & Bike Show
[Updated: Event postponed to October 21] On Sunday, October 14th, three motor sports clubs will host the first annual Motor Sports Racing and Bike Show event at the Bermuda Motor Sports Park in Southside, St. Davids. The event will include high speed racing action provided by the Bermuda Karting Club and the Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club.
In addition to the racing action on track there will be Classic and Custom motorcycles and scooters on display for all spectators to view. The Bermuda Classic Bike club will be hosting the bike show alongside the BMRC with two awards up for grabs.
The “People’s Choice Award” will be awarded to the individual who gains the most votes for their Classic Bike on display. The second award will be the “Best in Show” award which will be awarded to the individual who gains the most votes for either their Classic or Custom Bike.
The event takes place starting at 12 noon on October 14, 2012, and admission is $5.
Update Oct 10: A spokesperson from the BMRC said, “Do to a scheduling conflict of the motor sports facility we have rescheduled this great event by one week to Sunday, October 21st, 2012.”
