Admiral Bailey & Pinchers To Perform On Nov 11.

November 6, 2012

‘Veterans In Action’ will take place this coming Sunday [Nov 11] at the BAA Gymnasium with the doors opening at 9pm, with a host of reggae artists and local DJs slated to provide the evening’s entertainment.

The night will feature local DJ’s BlackStar, OGS, Jugglin Jason and Nuclear Weapon. They will be joined later in the evening by local artists Kulcha, Shorta Ranks and Junior C who will be performing live.

This will be followed by two veteran reggae artists: Admiral Bailey and Pinchers. Both of these artists will be joining us from Jamaica to perform some of their signature hits such as “Big Belly Mon” and “Bandelero.”

It will be an evening of musical reminiscing, as patrons journey back to the late 1980s and early 1990s when these singers were in their prime.

This event is designed to cater to a mature crowd who can come out and have an enjoyable night out. Tickets are $35 in advance and are available at Kit N Caboodle, Fish N Tings, Jamaican Grill Court Street and Bailey’s Bay, Dub City, all Western Union and MoneyShop locations as well as Dunkley’s Dairy. Food and refreshments will be on hand.

Wow, just hearing those names brings back memories. Rugby has an off night on the Sunday, I think a reggae gig will be perfect for my visiting mates.
