Extra Performance Added: ‘One Night Of Queen’
An unprecedented demand for tickets in the first six hours they were on sale, has resulted in The Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts arranging an additional performance of One Night of Queen to its 2013 programme.
The band’s act is a re-creation of the final concert tour of Queen with its iconic lead singer Freddy Mercury. Festival-goers can expect to hear popular rock anthems like We are the Champions and We Will Rock You as well as the operatic Bohemian Rhapsody.
“Tickets to the two nights we had slated for the band almost sold out on the first day they went on sale,” said Festival Artistic Director Karen Pollard.
“With such an enthusiastic response from the public, we contacted the band and were successful in persuading them to add a performance on Thursday, February 28,” she added.
The Thursday concert will take place at the Fairmont Southampton at 8.30 p.m. Tickets will be made available online on 23 November at 10am on www.bermudafestival.org and on www.bdatix.bm. Festival box office locations are: Fabulous Fashions at the Heron Bay Plaza, Southampton; All Wrapped Up in the Washington Mall until November 30; and Sportseller, Washington Mall from December 1.
