Man Remanded On Aggravated Burglary Charges

November 26, 2012

In Magistrates Court this morning [Nov 26], 30-year-old Justin Ingemann was not required to plead to the indictable charge of aggravated burglary.

The allegation was that on 24th November 2012, he had trespassed and entered a City of Hamilton Reid Street property, made off with $300 cash, and was, at the time, in possession of a bladed article, a knife.

Because the charge is indictable, Mr Ingemann can only be tried in the Supreme Court. Senior Magistrate Archie Warner ordered that Mr Ingemann should be remanded into custody until he re-appears for mention on 10th December 2012.
