29-Year-Old Airlifted Overseas For Medical Care

The 29-year-old man who was found lying injured on the ground outside Woody’s in Sandys yesterday morning has been flown overseas for further medical care. He was previously listed in critical condition in the ICU.

A police spokesperson said: “The 29 year old Pembroke man that was found lying injured on the ground outside Woody’s Bar & Restaurant in Sandys parish around 12:45am Thursday, December 6th has since been flown overseas for further medical treatment after initially being treated at the Intensive Care Unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

“Inquiries are ongoing and anyone who may have information on how the 29 year old Pembroke man sustained his injuries is encouraged to contact Detective Sergeant Ryan Leera or Detective Constable Timothy Harvey at the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.”

    Sad! I just hope this isn’t a tit for tat game these guys are playing. I pray that he recovers and is able to report what happened to him. Be encouraged family.
