PLP To Hold East End Rally This Evening

December 6, 2012

The Progressive Labour Party is scheduled to hold an East End Rally this evening [Dec 6].

A spokesperson said: “Join us at St George’s Cricket Club on Thursday, December 6, starting at 7pm for an evening of excitement and celebration as we bring your East End Candidates to you!

“All the candidates from Constituencies 1 through 12 will take to the stage to rally the troops as we head to the December 17 General Election. There will be live performances, entertainment, food vendors and PLP paraphernalia. Come out and Stand Strong With Us.”

The party is holding a press conference later this morning, and it is expected they will release their platform at that time.

um not going, unless Ewart shows up and answers those plantation questions and Paula tells us why the AG was placed on admin leave. Geeez I hope my boi Manders don’t get caught up in politics like Weekes. That MP salary ain’t worth the stench that goes with it Weekes

  2. St.Georges Young Black Male says:

Waste of the peoples time. Only family memebers will be out tonight , Nobody from PLP has or will do nothing for the town of St.Georges. We have been left to suffer by JENNIFER SMITH and her upity self. Only time you see her is summer time down the beach with her loyal puppets kissing her @ss . Ask her what shes ever done for St.Georges? Not a damn thing. Renee is a good person. but she has joined a party full of… and it will damage her good image.

  3. Triangle Drifter says:

These Rallys must be the PLPs answer to actually getting out & doing some real hard work canvassing. They are also a nice way to avoid some real hard questions voters have but would be too intimidated to ask in a public forum for fear of certain people taking notes of who is asking what.

Hey, serve some koolaid & cake, give out some party treats like bumper stickers & flags, we have a PAWTEEE.

Do you actually believe what you write? Have you not seen the PLP have town halls in st george’s, warwick, devonshire, pembroke, southampton?

When does the OBA plan to allow Nandi Davis and Alexis Swan and Terry Hodgson and Ras Mykkal to field questions at a Town Hall?

  4. Rockfish#1and#2 says:

“Special appearance by Premier The Hon.Paula Cox”

What is so special about the Premier attending an election rally?

If she, Burgess, and DeSilva would hold a press conference to answer the tough questions that most Bermudians want answered, that would really be special!

  5. GOD 1st says:

Vince ingham has more to offer than the other 2 candidates lol caller you are living in a world alone lol

  6. GOD 1st says:

  8. Xman says:

With Kenneth Bascomb being such a theat to Jeniffer Smith in the St.Georges north voting district theres going to be a lot of PEP talk going on there.- but will it make a difference.
Many St.Georges people are very aware that since 1998 Jennifer has’nt really done nothing but run it down.
I truly wonder if MP Jeneffer Smith knows that the town of St.Georges is a Ghost town.- because she dos’nt seem to care.
