Bermuda’s wacky racers are out in force getting their last heats in for the year.

  2. Nuffin but de Truth! says:

    Speeding on slippery roads!

  3. Witness to black jeep accident. says:

    Think before you comment.

This had nothing to do with speeding so stop being so judgmental!
The road was slick and the car was travelling uphill, and having just passed the other accident it was travelling well within the legal limit. It spun out and was heading for the water, driver corrected and hit the wall instead.

If you have nothing nice to say then don’t bother saying anything. You weren’t there and you don’t know what happened, so keep your opinions to yourself!
Clearly you have nothing better to do with your time.

get a life people…….trollers on here looking for fame lmbo

    • Z says:

Wanna make a bet that speed was involved?? This is Bermuda after all…..

    • Nuffin but de Truth! says:

      I WAS there!,Schmuck

      • Witness to black jeep accident. says:

Then you would know that the car wasn’t speeding!?!?! And insults? Really??

      • Douglas says:

Schmuck! Wow, haven’t heard that in years and years. Why not just wish that no one was hurt and leave it at that mate!

    • Triangle Drifter says:

Just knew it. Of course it was not the drivers fault. It was the cars fault. The car should have known that it was on a wet road which is slippery. The car should have seen it & slowed down all by itself.

How could a driver possibly be at fault & cause these two crashes?

    • Mad Dawg says:

Nothing to do with speed at all. Cars often get out of control all by themselves. Sometimes even when they’re not moving at all! I don’t know why you would blame the drivers! There are forces of nature out there that cause accidents. Nothing to do with the drivers. Walls are everywhere! That can’t be the driver’s fault can it?
Everyone is so judgemental, blaming drivers when cars are driven into things.

      • Mike says:

        Something spooked the vehicles.

      • Y-Gurl says:

Out of control cars, forces of nature, walls everywhere, blaming drivers when cars drive into things, nothing to do with speed, I hope you have a bus pass and Stephen King wrote a movie called Christine in 1983 and I’m thinking you saw it!

    • Micro says:

Yeah right. Travelling uphill you’re likely to under-steer (front maintains its original course ignoring any steering input) rather than over-steer (back gets out); front is lifted while the back is planted on the road making it pretty impossible to “spin-out” at 35k with the front of the car turning inwards into the other lane…

Hell its pretty impossible to slide the back out on a car at 35k unless maybe oil is on the road or you have improper tire pressure/bald tires; was there oil on the road Witness?
Or in the case of this car (looks one of those Jimnys) being four wheel drive they punched the accelerator making the back slide which makes its driver error no matter how you dress it up .

And still, that stretch of road has a high-friction surface treatment to prevent silly accidents like this from happening; are you suggesting the government has wasted money applying that stuff to “dangerous” corners and approaches to crosswalks seeing as it couldn’t stop a car from spinning out at 35k?

  4. a girl says:

Well its two accidents in this post and they didn’t mention any particular vehicle in their comment and I think they was jus making a general comment geesh! So YOU “witness to black jeep accident” should stop being judgmental and think before U comment!!!

    • Nuffin but de Truth! says:

      Well Said *a girl*

    • Witness to black jeep accident. says:

Are you serious? Even generalised comments relating to this incident, if you weren’t there or directly involved, is being judgmental!!!
      You just here to argue???

  5. Oh Please says:

@Witness to black Jeep: you have a very valid point. And thank you for that Info and for correcting the false rumor, speculating public..

  6. SoMuchMore says:

I think the GP cars will come in handy after all, let’s use them for loaners for those who crash theirs LOL

  7. Oh Please says:

I cannot believe how some folks will go to the extreme in order to justify their ignorance

  8. Gabbani says:

Thats not the first time a car has flipped over on that hill, they need to lay that anti skid stuff on that hill before someone gets killed.

  9. Nuffin but de Truth! says:

you all can argue as much as you like, the Driver’s were at fault,NOT the cars!

  10. over soon.. says:

other than car malfunction, or human health, speed is ALWAYS a factor.

Even well within the legal limit, there are still best/not best speeds for different road times.

If the road was slick, and the car spun out.. then it was going to fast for the road conditions… end of story.

  11. Crazy Times In BDA says:

Take your time people. Be sensible. Then again most folk on this island have lost there sense. smh.

  12. Proud Bermudian says:

Everyone who wrote something negative, you thrive on other peoples faults and misery. And everyone of you have gone over the speed limit a few times yourselves. So look out the next time you get in YOUR car make sure your not speeding! Bermudians who have the biggest mouths have the biggestg accidents! And a happy new year to you too!

  13. Vote says:

Having witnessed something similar a few years back coming down the hill just b4 South. Princess, a car skidded on the wet road coming round the corner went over the road, flipped and would have gone right over the embankment if it weren’t for trees and bushes, 3 in the car, thankfully no one hurt either, but you’re right, you don’t have to be going fast to flip!!
