Truck Driver Arrested For DUI After Collision
Around 6:30pm on Saturday [Dec 8] police attended a two vehicle damage only collision on Somerset Road in Sandys parish near the junction with Ledgelets Lane.
A police spokesperson said: “It appears that a bus and a truck were being driven along Somerset Road when the vehicles collided. The truck driver, a 39 year old Warwick man, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. There were no reported injuries; however both vehicles were damaged. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing.”
