One thing – I do appreciate the PLP having these meetings and wish the OBA would do the same. Press conferences do not do it for me.

    • Um Um Like says:

And it’s great that the plp aren’t having these meetings on PUBLIC property! Oh wait…

    • Blurt says:

Get it OFF GOVERMENT property. two faced PLP

  2. 32n64w says:

I thought public property was off limits (especially schools) for political promotions? Then again the PLP have always had one set of rules for themselves and another for the taxpayers.

PLP – Betraying Bermudians since 1998, one hypocritical act after another.

    • haha says:

Having a function at a school is not the same as posting advertising on government property.

      • Blurt says:

So there will be no standing strong or PLP banner then, if there are The PLP are liars and you’d be a fool voting for a liar

    • status! says:

mr. compass mentos the plp are having a meeting at the school not advertising..

      • Blurt says:

So there will be no PLP banners, , Logos or Standing Strong posters the….otherwise it is advertising for a political party using government property.

  3. Encyclopedia says:

I think ALL candidates of both parties must visit each household in their constituencies and listen to the people, even if the comments from the households are unfavorable.

Town Hall meetings indicate “if you are interested in asking me a question, you can come to the meeting and ask me”

Such a small country as Bermuda where politics is retail, requires the candidates to visit each home.

  4. Triangle Drifter says:

Oh goody! Will cake be served? How about koolaid? Will there be singing, maybe a rap song? Will there be a puppet show, maybe a cartoon? Will free stuff be given out? Maybe little green flags or bumper stickers?

    Can’t wait.
