How are they making the selection of who goes on this trip, by skin colour? I thought dance brought people together not separate them….

“People dance because dance can change things. One move, can bring people together. One move, can make you believe like there’s something more. One move, can set a whole generation free.”

They are not making a selection based on Skin color if you new the group travelling you would see that it was not based on skin color. Just because they are going to the International Association of Blacks in Dance Conference doesnt mean that the group selected are all black. This is why the world is the way it is because people like you assume the wrong things. Have you ever been to one of UDP’s shows to see the variety of students that attend the school? Maybe you should check it out before you cast judgement or make a comment like that.

  3. skeptical says:

So if a dance school was travelling to the International Association of Whites in Dance Conference would you support this and take a group of children? And dear, you are making assumptions yourself….I know all about UDP, from its very beginning. It’s quite easy to make wrong assumptions isn’t it :)
