    • Facts says:

They were too busy up the west bothering innocent people trying to watch a football game. I guess they went back to sucking their thumbs after nothing popped off. Please turn The Police “Service” back into The Police “FORCE”

      • enough says:

How did they ‘bother’ folks at the football game?

  2. dthtoo/ says:

Come on UBPOBA let’s not have these kinds of reportings. You promised us no more violence – you’d put an end to it. But it is clear to me that you were bluffing to get the Black vote. I just cannot put your “Black Surrogates Secret Report” out of my mind and move on with my life. One day it is going to come back to haunt you – BIG time! In the meantime STOP THIS VIOLENCE!

    • Um Um Like says:

dthtoo/: Not much to say except that you’re a real f*%(*$ idiot!! How about you go and catch the next stray!

    • New Bermudian says:

They’ve been in for about two weeks, do you think they are going to deliver all the things in their campaign promises in two weeks? Come on yourself. The new guys are just learning the intricacies of what needs to be done and getting to know their staff! How silly. Give them just a bit more time and then you can start the moaning. The PLP had fourteen years and didn’t do much in the war on violence and drugs.
And, if I can voice a conspiracy theory of my own…doesn’t it seem to be odd that a party concerned with the plight of its black community continued to allow Education to be a shambles and wouldn’t take any strong measures to stop the flow of drugs or guns to the island? Hmmm…think on this: if you can keep an underclass of poorly educated sheep that will believe anything you feed them, then you stay in power. If you keep the masses sedated and distracted, you own them. Guns and drugs are fabulous for that last bit. So, I think it was intentional on the part of the PLP. They didn’t care about Bermuda, they only lined their own pockets. So before you start heaping it on the OBA, ask your party what they did for you, and ask yourself if you’re really better off than you were even five years ago.

    • Y-Gurl says:

14years to screw up the country and 2 weeks to fix it? I’m guessing math isn’t your strongpoint, how about offering a suggestion instead of bringing up your lunch!

      • lofl says:

well UBPOBA had 35 years to mess up the country prior, PLP only have 14 years to fix it!

        • Let me get this str8 says:

          What was broken?

Fixing it? you mean unemployment, the exit of IB, the rise of gun violence, the extremely poor GCSE grades from your senior school students, the growth of an unsustainable debt, the numerous qualified audit reports etc. is the PLP’s version of fixing something?

Glad I don’t support a Party that believes those are signs of fixing things…

    • M.P.Mountbatten JP says:

Hey , OBA .. Just because Cannons Ear didn’t hear the shots doesn’t mean that shots weren’t fired . Besides , the Red Barron is a paper crusader . The dream is over for you bums . Now get to work in making the Island safer for f@$ks sakes .

      • Back to Life, Back to Reality says:

Hey M.P. Mountbatten JP… nice to hear from you again. I remeember all your post about your negative so called “conversations” with your “friend “Hamish” before the election!!!!

I met him the day after the election and he was looking for you!!! He couldn’t find you and so he asked me to take me to your leader! He was shocked to find out it wasn’t Paula!

Sorry..but after all your pre-election comments – I had to!!

    • Mad Dawg says:

Can you remind us where anyone promised an immediate end to all violence? It sounds like you’re trying to rewrite history. Could you give us a link to a report where the OBA promised this prior to the election?

    • Nuffin but de Truth! says:

there’s always some @%%hole has to try using the race card,

      it doesnt work!

    • M.T. Pockets says:

Are you serious dthtoo? ? It’s been about 3 weeks since the OBA became government, the house hasn’t even had it’s first session yet and you expect a major problem like gang violence to be cleared up just like that? If it were that easy why didn’t the PLP Government fix it in the many years they had the “power” to?
I am sure the OBA will address it, and quite possibly reduce the violence but they need more than a few weeks. Get real, think straight, and maybe even come up with some suggestions. Just be realistic and don’t criticize if or when the police take firm positive action which might mean kicking in a few doors.

    • dl says:

they got in a few weeks ago lol, be quiet.

    • Back to Life, Back to Reality says:

Show me where they promised “no more violence”! I can show you where they promised to do something about it – but I doubt that you can find a press release or video – saying “we promise no more violence”. Nice try though.

  3. Skeptical says:

I have put it out of my mind and gotten on with my life….you should do the same!

  4. What? says:

Lord God please let this comment be a joke…

  5. Expat who is leaving says:

    dthtoo—

Your joking right? Why don’t you put the pipe down and move away from this racial blame game, its pure amateur hour and its usually done by people who can’t take personal responsibility for themselves.

This political crap is boring, but I presume you believe it is the OBA’s fault that the public schools are poor standards, tourism is a borderline joke and the country is bankrupt too?

  6. god1st says:

you are a false profit dthtoo

  13. Islander says:

Hold yuh drawers Mate. You nor Rome were made in a day nor did you walk soon after birth and you can use your personal copy of the “report” as toilet paper or mail it to yourself. If you are allowing this to keep you from moving on, you have a serious problem “held bondage by the boogey party defeated December 17, 2012″. Let it go and EXHALE and believe me, it won’t be black or green or red!!

  14. Zzz says:

Yep 3 weeks and I am not yet living on an island with no crime and we are rich.

  18. UM JUS SAYIN says:

HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED….when alleged gunshots go off in specific areas namely back of town locations i.e. areas behind Parson’s road. The POLICE never seem to find any evidence. I’m almost certain people know what gunshots sound like. Why are there never any casings found….HMMMM could this all be one big cover up for the mischief and legitimized boys in blue protection that surrounds the back of town areas…..

  19. Joey-Bag-O'doughnuts says:

OK, the OBA has been in power for what two weeks, if that, and you people want every problem already settled? You people are laughable. These problems have taken years to fester and it will take some time and some adjusting to some new kinds of ideas. I am not saying that it will take a whole bunch of years but give it at least a few months.

  20. ECS says:
