Tom Meyer: Aspen’s Chief Underwriting Officer
Aspen’s Bermuda subsidiary, Aspen Bermuda Limited [ABL], announces the appointment of Tom Meyer as Chief Underwriting Officer.
Tom Meyer joined Aspen Re’s Specialty reinsurance team in London in 2006, with responsibility for leading Marine and Terrorism reinsurance business.
In his new role, Mr Meyer will report to James Few, Chief Executive Officer, ABL and Aspen Re. He will also retain his responsibilities for overseeing the Marine and Terrorism reinsurance business. Tom is expected to assume his new role on 1 April 2013, subject to Immigration approval.
Stefan Long, currently Chief Underwriting Officer, ABL, will be returning to London after 8 years in Bermuda to take on an expanded role within Aspen Re as Managing Director, Global Accounts and Head of Property Catastrophe reinsurance.
