Bermuda Snooker League Season Continues

The Bermuda Snooker Miller Open Division Season continued with four matches on tap earlier this week. The Warwick Workman’s Club A team defeated the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club B team 6 – 0. Timmy Sousa won his two games against Bart Lewis 45-15 & 74-42. Wally Tucker defeated Jon Pedro 42-34 and Keith Smith won his game against Andrew Hanwell 69-15. Smith also recorded the High Break of 22, while doubles partners Smith/Andre Burgess defeated Hanwell/Ross Spurling 97-16.

Sandys Boat Club A team defeated Watford Sports Club B team 5-2. Martin Siese and Tony Dawson shared a game each. Dawson won the first game 52-47 and Siese won the second game 44-20. Stuart Matthews defeated Keino Zuill 59-32 and Peter Bromby won his game against Aaron Bean 66-47. Bromby/Matthews won the doubles game against Bean/Zuill 69-33.

Spanish Point Boat ClubA team defeated Queen’s Club B team 5-2. Ed Gumbs defeated John Nicol 59-33. Stewart Greenslade won his game against John Burns 63-10. Chris Dakin and Greg Swinbourne would split a game each with Swinbourne winning the first game 57-46 and Dakin taking the second game 55-52. Greenslade/Gumbs won the doubles game against Rick Dorush/Jimmy McGill 64-32.

Warwick Workman’s Club B team defeated Royal Artillery Association A team 5-3. Honky Burrows and Reuben Burchall took one game each in the double frame games. Burchall won the first game 56-45 and Burrows won the second game 43-19. Mike McGowan defeated Nadanja Bailey 52-33 and Joseph Hayward defeated Daniel Caines 60-38. Caines/Jonathan Peniston won the doubles game 60-27 against Hayward/McGowan
