Motorcyclist Overtakes, Strikes Police Car

Yesterday afternoon [Feb 19], a motorcyclist overtook a taxi on Middle Road, and ended up crashing into a police car.

A police spokesperson said, “At 12:06pm police were traveling west on Middle Road in the area Four Ways Inn in Paget when a man on a motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction overtook a taxi traveling in front of him and hit the police car.”

The police stated that no one was injured, the bike was extensively damaged and inquiries are on going.

    and “inquires” are on going?

    Additionally, I am curious as to why inquiries are still ongoing. I thought they inquiries wouldn’t have taken that long due to the fact that the police were present.

      Thankfully, the police look for outside witnesses to corroborate on the incident, especially when the ‘Force’ is involved in an accident.

    Ok, let’s see now…oncoming traffic-1, overtaking bike rider-0.
    At least we have one rider who (thankfully not hurt badly) will stick him/herself back on your tailpipe a bit longer for a few weeks….til the tailpipe stops and becomes an extension of the new (rental) bike.
