The 11th Annual Coldwell Banker Home Show got underway yesterday [Feb 15] at CedarBridge Academy, and continues on today from 9:00am – 4:00pm. Yesterday’s inclement weather did not stop people from flocking to the trade exhibition which is designed to showcase local business services and provide the public with a “one-stop-shopping” experience for goods and services related to home ownership.

You can visit over 70 local businesses at the event, including Colonial Insurance, Conspec Limited, GCS Group, Bermuda Engineering Company Ltd, Bermuda Brickyard, Joshua Bate Trading Bermuda Ltd, Butterfield Bank, Freisenbruch-Meyer Group Insurance, Solar Bermuda Ltd, R&R Decorations, Digicel Bermuda, Trott & Duncan Barristers and Attorneys, Bermuda Diabeties Association, Bermuda Red Cross, WOW Cable TV Services Sousa’s Gardens Landscaping, Bermuda Security Group and many more.     The number of people running around filling bags up with stuff just cause it is ‘free’ was disgraceful. Some folks have no class at all, & it shows.

    I wish the organizers of this event would choose a different date instead of using the same date every year, because every year I’m off the Island at this time on a business trip so have never had the opportunity to see this event.
