British Travel Agency Holds ‘Bermuda Day’
A travel agent in the English county town of Hertford celebrated Bermuda with customers and local dignitaries.
Thomas Cook Travel in Railway Street held a Bermuda Day, which was opened by town mayor Jane Sartin, Royal Tunbridge Wells town crier John Scholey and his wife and escort Liz.
Visitors to the shop were treated to the island’s unofficial national drink, the Dark and Stormy, and a slice of Bermuda rum cake. Staff were also on hand at the event to promote the country as a holiday destination to customers.
