Lunch & Learn: “Why C Level Executives Hate IT”

ISACA Bermuda will be holding a Lunch and Learn event at the Deloitte Office on Parliament Street on Wednesday 8th May 2013 from 12pm to 1:30pm, with the subject matter to be “Why C Level Executives Hate IT.”

A spokesperson said, “Join us on Wednesday 8th May 2013 and hear from one of Bermuda’s finest IT Leaders, Howard Ho. With his breadth and depth of experience in the IT, Operations and Finance arenas of small and large organizations alike – he is pleased to share his expertise on Why C Level Executives Hate IT. In other words – Why IT is often deemed more of a burden than a valuable resource to an organization.

“Howard is a proven leader who translates business strategies into information technology solutions that balance the interests of diverse stakeholders to create optimal business capability, productivity and profitability. Howard has a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and New Ventures from The University of Calgary as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Management Information Systems.

“He currently serves as Assistant Director at the Bermuda Monetary Authority and has previously served in leadership roles including CIO at Instaloans – Canada’s leading provider of alternative financial products and services; CIO at Design Group Staffing – a recruiting firm named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for the past 13 years; and VP of Operations at Functional Engineering in Cambodia.”
