Woman Admits Using Stolen Card To Buy Hair
Vanessa Blyden, 22, appeared in Magistrates Court yesterday [Apr 17] where she admitted using a stolen credit card to buy packages of fake hair.
Blyden was charged with burglarizing a Smith’s Parish residence in February 2013, however she pleaded not guilty. She was then charged with dishonestly receiving a credit card, knowing it to be stolen. The Court heard she obtained seven packages of hair from Fadoo on King Street on 26th February using the credit card to do so.
Senior Magistrate Archie Warner ordered a Social Inquiry Report, set sentencing for June 2013, and granted Ms Blyden $2,000 bail and required a surety.

To maintain a weave is expensive … I am told. There are a lot of females out there who, although have enough hair to work with, MUST have weave, MUST get nails done, MUST get feet done … and they ain’t got no money to be rolling like that. Get a grip, stop being so vain and materialistic! Cuz some of the weaves I’ve seen are weaverilla! Bermuda is too hot/humid during the summer to be having all this heavy hair and it looks so fake!
