May 3, 2013

alanICC President Alan Isaac [pictured] and WICB President Dave Cameron will be visiting Bermuda this weekend. Their visit coincides with the final two rounds of matches in the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 3.

During their visit they will meet with the Governor George Fergusson, Premier Craig Cannonier and various Cabinet Ministers including the Minister for Community & Cultural Development Wayne Scott. Both Mr. Isaac and Mr. Cameron will be on hand for the final presentations at the National Sports Centre on Sunday.

Bermuda Cricket Board President Lloyd Fray said, “We are extremely honoured and grateful that we will be able to host these prominent gentlemen. This will be the first time that an ICC President has visited Bermuda so we especially welcome Alan Isaac, and his wife Mary, to our beautiful country.

“The BCB has long enjoyed an outstanding relationship with the WICB and so be able to have Dave Cameron come to our shores so soon after his recent election is a telling indication of the important bonds that we share. I look forward to a very busy and fruitful weekend, and hopefully some more Bermuda victories, as we enjoy some outstanding cricket.”

David Cameron, West Indies President stated, “I am excited to be able to visit Bermuda so early in my tenure as President of the WICB. Bermuda has a rich tradition of cricket at the grassroots and high performance levels, we enjoyed their participation in the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2007. I am looking forward to seeing some great cricket and exploring how we can continue to grow our excellent relationship.”
