Collision: Man Charged With Multiple Offences

A 19-year-old appeared in Magistrates Court this morning [June 27], where he was charged a number of offences relating to a collision last year.

Jahni Holder faced Senior Magistrate Archie Warner where he was charged in relation to a collision on South Shore Road in Warwick on November 9, 2012.

Holder was charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Rashaun Zuill while driving without a driver’s licence; causing grievous bodily harm to Zuill while driving whilst not covered by third part insurance; driving a motor vehicle whilst not exercising due care and attention; driving whilst not possessing a driver’s licence; driving whilst not covered by third party insurance.

Because the charges can only be handled in the Supreme Court, Holder was not required to enter a plea. Holder was granted $5,000 bail with one surety and required to re-appear July 11, 2013.
