Marion Bermuda Race Tracking Goes Online

June 12, 2013

[Written By Talbot Wilson] The 645 mile, open-ocean Marion Bermuda Race starts off Marion, MA this Friday [June 14].

Whether you have a boat or not, you can literally “watch” all the boats participating in the race through a satellite tracking system by Yellowbrick, a world leader in GPS satellite tracking. Kingman Yacht Center in Cataumet, Massachusetts is this year’s race tracker sponsor.

You have many different viewing options in tracking the race; you can watch the entire fleet go down the course from Marion to Bermuda, or you can follow specific classes. Best of all, you can even track just your favorites and cheer them on with your own personal postings. As you watch the race unfold, you’ll see how each boat’s different strategy affects its ultimate position.

Access the Marion Bermuda Race tracking directly here or through the Marion Bermuda Race website.

Kingman Yacht Center, is not only sponsoring the Yellowbrick satellite boat tracking system, they are also sponsoring the Kingman Yacht Center Marion Bermuda Race Team Trophy. The yacht club or sailing organization team of three boats with the best combined corrected time will win this prestigious award.

Because of the generous support of our sponsors, the Marion Bermuda Race will be able to make donations to community boating programs in both Massachusetts and Bermuda.
