Bermuda Youth Athletes Compete In Curaçao

Bermuda sent a team to compete in the Central American and Caribbean [CAC] Age Group Championships in Curaçao, with Zekiah Lewis the top placing Bermuda athlete, placing second in a field of 37 athletes.

The Championships are open to athletes from 37 different nations and territories throughout the region, and took place from June 29th – 30th.

Bermuda Results: 11/12 Girls Age Group

Zekiah Lewis placed 3rd in the 60m, 1st in the High Jump, 1st in the Long Jump amassing a score of 2773 placing 2nd overall. Mikaela Outerbridge placed 30th overall but placed 3rd in the individual 800m. There was 37 athletes in this age group.

Bermuda Results: 11/12 Boys Age Group

Sean Tatem placed 26th and Robert Thomas placed 28th. There were 39 athletes in this age group.

Bermuda Results: 13/14 Girls Age Group

Symir Lowe-Darrell placed 16th and Syriah Lottimore placed 22nd. There were 39 in this age group.

Bermuda Results: 13/14 Boys Age Group

Elisha Darrell placed 20th overall and placed 4th in the Long Jump and 5th in the High Jump. Sean Tucker placed 32nd. There were 39 athletes in this age group.
