Cricket: Bailey’s Bay Retain Eastern County Cup
Bailey’s Bay retained the Eastern County Cup after meeting up with Cleveland County on Saturday [July 20] at Lord’s in St Davids.
Bailey’s Bay were sent to bat and scored 236/7 in their allotted 70 overs. Captain Stephen Outerbridge was the top scorer with 116 before being run out attempting a second run. Vice-Captain Rodney Trott added 41, while opener Sinclair Smith scored 31. Lavar Talbot was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 10-2-33-2, while captain Dennis Musson Jr. bowled 10-2-29-2.
