Cricket: Rain Halts Bermuda vs USA U/19 Match
Bermuda’s quest to qualify for a second ICC Under 19 World Cup got underway yesterday [July 8] at the Maple Leaf Cricket Club in Canada – in a match that ended up being interrupted by mother nature as rain halted play.
Bermuda is taking part in the 2013 ICC Americas Under 19 Division One Tournament. The winner of the double round-robin event featuring USA, Canada and Bermuda will advance to the 2014 ICC Under 19 World Cup to be held next February in the UAE.
United States of America were bowled all out for 194, S Ahmad was the top scorer with 71, while P Palmer added 40. Delray Rawlins was the pick of the Bermuda Bowlers with figures of 10-0-51-5.
