Michael-Douglas_0Working alongside director Rob Reimer and actress Diane Keaton, Michael Douglas, the half-Bermudian actor born to one of the island’s most famous actresses Diana Dill, is filming his latest movie in Connecticut, with an unusually hot sun forcing the use of fans and umbrellas around the set.

Filming for “And So It Goes,” a romantic comedy that sees the character played by Douglas manage major life changes after meeting his granddaughter for the first time, has been taking place at the Bristol Theme Park this week, with both Douglas and Keaton taking a ride on the park’s popular Twister and Wave Swinger attractions in order to complete a series of scenes based on a trip to an amusement park.

Besides those big names, hundreds of extras and curious onlookers have swarmed the set each day since filming began there; with the park still open for business during filming, this has made for quite a scene.

Filming for “And So It Goes” began on June 10, with the movie set to be released in theatres sometime in 2014.
