Netball League: PHC, Breakers, Teachers Win
The Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League Season continued at the Bernard Park with a triple header.
In the evenings opener PHC defeated the Colossal 26 – 19, Vernicka Symonds and Jennifer Simmons both scored 13 goals for PHC, while Jasmine Grant scored 10 goals for the Colossal’s and Eshe Grant added 9 goals.
In a close encounter the Breakers edged the Family 22 – 21, Kirstin Saltus led the Breakers to victory with 15 goals, while Darrika Simons added 7 goals, Rose Sanders scored 16 goals for Family with Nia Dailey adding 5 goals.
The Teachers defeated the Blue Flame Police 30 – 18, the Teachers go 25 goals from Bismallah Richardson, 3 goals from Zianna Warren and 2 goals from Tanika White. Stacey O’Brien scored 10 goals for the Blue Flame Police, while Latisha Rogers added 8 goals.
