XL Group Appoints Wesly Guiteau As Senior VP
XL Group’s Bermuda Excess Casualty Unit today [July 2] announced the appointment of Wesly Guiteau as Senior Vice President, Underwriting Manager in the insurance operations.
Mr. Guiteau, who has close to 15 years of industry experience, will report to Chief Excess Casualty Underwriter Carla Greaves. His responsibilities will include shaping and executing XL Group’s Bermuda insurance healthcare strategy as well as leading the Healthcare Team in developing new business and increasing market penetration through strong relationships with key brokers.
During his career Mr. Guiteau has held progressively senior roles with brokerage firms Marsh Global Broking in New York and Bermuda and with Willis Bermuda Ltd. Prior to joining XL Group, he was Senior Vice President ,Team Leader with Willis Bermuda Ltd.

Mr. Guiteau holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with a Minor in Finance from Long Island University in New York.
