Youth Footballers Win First 2 Games In Europe

Young football players from the Bermuda Brazilian Football School [BBFS] recently traveled to Europe to take part in a tournament, and they have kicked it off with two strong wins.

BBFS played their first game in the Dana Cup’s Under 12 Division facing off against EB Streymur of the Faroe Islands defeating them 10-0.

BBFS took control of the match after 10 minutes and opened the score via Rahzir Smith-Jones. Two more goals were added in the first half from Richard Jones Jr. and Christen Lugo.

Smith-Jones completed his hat-trick in the second half that saw the BBFS score 7 times, Erik Correia found the back of the net twice, while they also got strikes from Jarryd Richardson, Diione Millett and Khyree Hollis.

In their second game the BBFS took on TarsUglit IF Blue from Denmark and won the match 6-1. BBFS went ahead after 10 seconds after some high pressure on a back pass by Christen Lugo.

This was followed by goal from Erik Correia and Rahzir Smith-Jones. TarsUglit hit back early in the second half to make it 3-1. The BBFS would go on to score three more via Khyree Nichole Hollis, Erik Correia and another by Smith-Jones.
