34 Year Old Man Denies Sexual Assault Charge

At the Supreme Court Monthly Arraignments Session this morning [Aug 5] a 34 year old man — who cannot be named for legal reasons — pleaded guilty to depriving a female of her liberty on 1st July 2013.

He pleaded not guilty to serious sexual assault and using a knife while doing so; and assault causing actual bodily harm. Both events allegedly occurred on 1st July.

The man will re-appear at the next Arraignments when his trial date on the two outstanding matters will be set.
