BCB Premier Cricket Division Weekend Results

A number of cricket games took place this past weekend [Aug 10/11], with St. George’s Cricket Club, Willow Cuts, Southampton Rangers, Cleveland County and St. David’s Cricket Club all recording wins.

St. George’s Cricket Club Win by 126 Runs: St. George’s Cricket Club 234 Bailey’s Bay 106

At the Sea Breeze Oval, St. George’s Cricket Club were sent to bat by Bailey’s Bay and they scored 234 all out, captain Oronde Bascome was the top scorer with 63, while Jonathan Denbroke added 39. Kyle Hodsoll was the pick of the Bailey’s bay bowlers with figures of 10-0-63-3, while Lateef Trott bowled 8.5-1-25-2.

In reply Bailey’s Bay were bowled all out for 106, Trott was the top scorer with 20, while Burton Outerbridge added 18. Zeko Burgess was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 9-0-45-4, while Herbie Bascome bowled 10-2-33-3.

Willow Cuts Win by 242 Runs: Willow Cuts 326/8 Western Stars 84

At the White Hill Field, Willow Cuts batted first and scored 326/8 in their allotted 50 overs, Deunte Darrell was the top scorer with 118, while Bergon Spencer added 50, Kanaz tuzo was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 3-0-22-2, while Nyon Steede bowled 10-1-56-2.

In reply Western Stars were bowled all out for 84, Brian Hall scored 42 and Ryan Tyrell added 12 they were the only two batsmen in double figures, Malachi Jones returned bowling figures of 10-1-26-5 to lead Willow Cuts to victory, while Kevon Fubler bowled 3.4-0-15-3.

Southampton Rangers Win by 4 Wickets: Somerset Cricket Club 201 Southampton Rangers 203/6

At the Somerset Cricket Club the hoe team batted first and were bowled all out for 201, Jacobi Robinson was the top scorer with 72, while Dennico Hollis added 47. Alex Dore was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 10-1-34-3, while Shannon Raynor bowled 4-0-26-2.

In reply Dion Stovell scored 90 to lead the Southampton Rangers to victory, Derrick Brangman added 32, Greg Maybury returned bowling figures of 10-0-34-3 for the Somerset Cricket Club.

Cleveland County Win by 206 Runs: Cleveland County 296/8 PHC 90

At the Wellington Oval, Cleveland County won the toss and elected to bat, they scored 298/8, with Shakai Darrell the top scorer with 54, captain Dennis Musson Jr added 37. Charles Trott led the PHC bowling attack with figures of 10-2-39-3, while Dante’ Wellman bowled 9.5-1-64-3.

In reply, Trott scored 24 and Bankcroft Haughton added 10 they were the only two batsmen in double figures as PHC were bowled all out for 90, Chris Douglas returned bowling figures of 6-0-25-5 to lead Cleveland County to victory.

St. David’s Cricket Club Win by 5 Wickets: Flatt’s Victoria 146 St. David’s Cricket Club 147/5

At Lord’s in St. David’s, St. David’s Cricket Club won the toss and elected to send Flatt’s Victoria to bat, they were bowled all out for 146, James Celestine was the top scorer with 51, while Kameron Fox was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 9-0-30-4.

In reply Delyone Borden scored 48 as St. David’s Cricket Club scored 147/5. Kijuan Franks was the pick of the Flatt’s Victoria bowlers with figures of 6-1-12-1.
